The SnowDogg MDII is a great plow for residential work. It is a weight-optimized version of Buyers Products' larger plows like the HDII and the EXII, which really makes it the best snow plow for a half ton truck. Its commercial duty, but probably isn't he best choice large lots due to its size and weight. If you are looking for a plow that its going to be nimble enough for driveways, but strong enough for long seasons, and heavy, wet snow, we think the MDII is ideal. Like we've mentioned, this is a great snow plow for a Jeep Wrangler, and we love to install this snow plow on F-150s and similar trucks and SUVs.

The MDII stands up to years of use. A few of the folks here at the shop have push the first generation MD for almost a decade, and the thing continues to be reliable. The MDII snow plow (and SnowDoggs in general) are built to be simple and easy to maintain. This means there is less to go wrong, and more overall reliability--which we love.

The SnowDogg MDII is built on a backbone on six, 3/16" laser-cut steel ribs, that are reinforced by a FULL LENGTH cross tube. The construction helps keep the plow light, but also adds stability by spreading blunt impacts across the length of the entire blade. The blade is full-trip, and supported by two stress-optimized trip springs, which keep it from tripping when not necessary. Like all SnowDogg snow plows the MDII comes standard with the 304 stainless steel blade. Can't beat that.
